In love with…playing princess in Gödöllö

It was one of those days when I woke up to a little squirrel tickling my feet with a white and soft feather, trying to get me into my pink dress that had been waiting for me for a long time. It was time that my princess side came out and so I put on my tiara and headed off to my future kingdom Gödöllö where my ancestor Empress Sisi had reigned some time ago.

Princesses always prefer having company so they don’t have to have high tea by themselves and maybe also to proof to themselves that they’re not the only ones who see rabbits serve tea and cats with big smiles. So there we were: two princesses wearing two princess-dresses, doing princess-things. Singing beautiful high-pitched songs with our animal friends from the forest was only one of the exciting things we got up to, hunting down the evil bitch uhm witch was another one.

I believe I don’t have to mention how the story ended…riding off with our prince to the sunset and lived happily ever after until a coconut hit us on the head and we realized this is complete bullshit and got divorced. I know there’s not a princess Michelle, but I also know how much Michelle loves to tell stories because sometimes telling the truth is not as exciting as a fairy tale where dragons try to kill you and wolves try to eat you.

You’re unbelievably nervous, even though everyone knows the princess always survives anyways. It’s about being someone else for a little while, to make people listen to you and to imagine what your life would be like if…and of course I’m totally wearing a tiara right now while I’m writing this, making up stories in my head…
